The adapter can expand from 2.7 inches to 3.95 inches. With 27 cm2 of solid rubber contact, the device will stay securely in place in your cup holder. Four points of contact allows the adapter to work in many different styles and shapes of cup holders. Every part of the 3d printed adapter is printed in PETG plastic for strength and heat resistance. Tested in the sizzling heat of Texas, the device can withstand even the most extreme conditions. Although this listing is for a Yeti 36oz Rambler Bottle, the tops can be easily interchanged for different cups. At the moment, there are tops for 32 and 40oz Hydoflasks, 32 and 40oz Nalgenes, the Yeti Rambler 14oz mug, the Yeti 36oz Rambler Bottle, and the Yeti 46oz Rambler Bottle. INSTALLATION: (See video as well)Expand the base slightly smaller than the size of your cup holder. This can be done either with the top removed or in place by turning the knob.Place the base in the cupholder and turn the knob to further expand and tighten the adapter. Tighten until you feel the adapter is well in place. (Tightening with the top removed is better unless your cup holder is very deep. If your cupholder is very deep, keep the top attached that way the expanding base is held up by the top).Attach the removable top via screwing the top onto the expanding base.
