It has long strap leaves and grows in clumps that mature at about 2 1/2 to 3 feet tall. The blooms rise up on stalks above the main body of the plant in late Winter and early Spring. Flowers are small, orchid-like, lightly fragrant in bright yellow with a brown speckled throat. Best placement is in light to moderate shade.
