Description: for sale here is a very good and very rare model , only lightly used hardy marquis no. 7 multiplier trout fly fishing reel , 3.5" , 2 screw drum release , the reason this is an extremely rare model is because of the anodised spool rim which is normally only ever seen on marquis disc reels , i have probably only ever seen 2 of these with this finish on the rim...very very rare but doesnt add much value to be honest , just makes it a bit unique , smooth alloy foot , rear tension , left or right wind , reversible solid silver lineguard with no line burns , twin checks , overall excellent working order with no damage , good strong loud check , tight with no slackness , most paint intact with only very minimal light wear as can be seen... . .comes with fairly good little hardy blue zipper pouch which has the usual litttle tear at the hinge and a small split on top but otherwise fine and clean and paper instructions too .. very very nice tight and tidy little reel actually .. all fully stripped and serviced and ready to use ..please see my other listings of hardy and other vintage fishing items this week , all items are posted as soon as paid... please also view more excellent items on my other ebay account , ebay username is jennywrentackle if you buy a reel from me , you can be sure it has been through my workshop , lines removed , fully cleaned and serviced and any worn or damaged parts replaced with new ones , so no loose handles , no chewed up screws , no spool wobble or spindle wear , no bent or filed feet , no worn pawls , no loose rivets or missing parts , good tight springs and always described exactly as i see it , i do all the hard work so you dont have to worry about getting an inferior reelobviously the more vintage reels may have little flaws such as worn screw heads or paint wear or scratches etc but all items will be fully photographed and described correctly , if you are unsure then please contact me..
