Professionally packaged in a rigid mailer for safe delivery.Photo OverviewArtillery soldiers are positioned in a camouflaged emplacement with a large artillery piece amid rolling fields, possibly in France during World War I. The soldiers wear early 20th-century military uniforms and helmets, indicative of the American Expeditionary Forces. The background shows a rural setting with sparse trees and distant structures. In World War I, the American Expeditionary Forces played a crucial role in the later stages of the war, providing much-needed reinforcements to the weary Allied forces. The use of artillery was pivotal in trench warfare, as it could disrupt enemy defenses and fortifications. This period marked a significant involvement of the United States in global military efforts, setting a precedent for future international involvement.Text Present27443 (Back)Condition: Good to fair vintage condition.
