Description: Carmel artist Will Bullas has a wonderful way with humor and wildlife. This painting is a perfect example. Based on the Humpty Dumpty nursery rhyme, ".....and all the King's Men couldn't put Humpty together again". In this battle, the King's Men are ducks, wearing paper helmets and carrying wooden sabres. Six of them are gathered together on "the wall" looking for their fallen hero. Documentation with this painting say it's an original watercolor valued at $2000 and was a donation, probably to an auction event. The painting itself measures 21x23", the frame brings it to 28x33. It is signed by the artist. The gallery that carried his art did the framing (New Masters Gallery in Carmel, Ca). The wall the soldiers are sitting on has a whimsical note of "Humpty Was Here." You gotta love it. We'll ship UPS Ground.
