Description: This amazing piece stands approximately 12 inches tall. Substantial at over 9 pounds in weight. The urn-like bowl has traditional lion-heads on each side and is adorned with expertly sculpted vegetables and fruit including bell peppers, pomegranates, garlic bulbs, grapes, lemons, apples, tomatoes and more! A VERY unique piece. Handcrafted and painted in Italy sometime mid-century, this vintage piece is a stunning example of majolica at it's most tasteful and whimsical. I took pictures in different lighting so you can see the variations and color. Please note this piece is a vintage piece and has a few nicks and minor chips, one is the only obvious on one bunch of purple grapes (final picture). There is also a minor chip on the very bottom of the bowl. Please see the pictures for best description.
