Description: Large Vintage Genuine Incolay Stone Hinged Jewelry Box Green & White Birds Cameo. Inside of the box is lined with black velvet. This elegant jewelry box is in great pre-owned condition with no chips or cracks, just some light scratches on the base where it would have sat on another surface (see pics). Beautiful green and white Genuine Incolay Stone hinged jewelry box, circa the 1980s. Large in size measuring 14”x 10”x 2.5”. The hinge is in great shape and holds the lid open well. This box is a true masterpiece, boasting the artistry and craftsmanship that Incolay stone is renowned for. The material itself is a remarkable blend of natural minerals and resins, skillfully combined to replicate the appearance of fine-grained marble. The lid features a raised cameo sculpture in ivory color of hummingbirds, florals, and a butterfly. The side walls are bas relief garland pattern. The box is lined with black velvet. Overall condition is very good. Some scratching on the base surface as well as some minor scratching on the top. There is also a small flea bite on the lid rim on the left side. See last few photos.
