Description: Offered is the vintage spiral-bound soft cover cookbook "Episcopal Epicurean", compiled by St. Margaret's Guild of the Episcopal Church of the Ridge and printed by the Howell Printing Co. in Aiken, South Carolina. This cookbook, with contributions from four Episcopal churches in upstate South Carolina (Trenton, Ridge Spring, Edgefield and Batesburg) is a stated limited edition first printing, one of 2,000 produced, from November, 1985. There are angel illustrations by Pamela Urbane at the beginning of each section. This is a rare, possibly unique find; at the time of original listing I could not find any other copies for sale on eBay or anywhere else. The book is approx. 9" x 6 3/4" and contains 418 pages. It is in good to very good condition. The soft cover has no tears or holes but does have some surface and edge wear. The spiral binding has a few "spines" out of place but the pages are all well-connected to it and turn with no problem. I see no missing or torn pages, They have yellowed slightly and some have some light soiling. There are a few notes written in the front and back but otherwise I see no writing in the book. I have a lot of experience with vintage and antique books but am not an expert so please let me know if my description is missing information and you have additional questions.
