Description: This is a beauty! One of the coolest items I have ever listed. This old cowhide/leather doctor's bag is the ultimate in old west decor, or as a gift for that doctor in your life. It is in very good condition for its age (1800's or early 1900's is only a guess.) There are no rips or holes through the exterior of the bag. The leather handle is still sturdy, and all three metal latches work! There are of course wear marks and stains consistent with age and use, but these marks only give this bag more character. The inside of the bag is also in pretty good condition. The elastic pockets, however, have come away from the side of the bag a bit. I think it would be an easy fix. Please see all of the photos as they show the condition very well. This bag is 20 " long when closed and roughly 17" long with the top open. It is about 10 1/2" wide, 12" tall when closed, and about 12 3/4" tall when open.
