Description: Vintage Whitman Play Money, 7 total bills with 1 each of $5, $10, $20, $50, $100, $500, and $1000. Whitman Publishing, a company still active in the coin industry, produced several print runs of this play money. The bills are based on the Black Eagle US currency from around the turn of the century. They are in near-mint condition with no tears, folds, or stains. This is one of the earliest and is identified by serial numbers being present above the seal. The serial numbers contain the date of 1959 and a designation of the denomination. Later print runs either replace the serial number with the phrase "NO VALUE" or remove it completely. The seal was also printed in two colors, blue and green. The blue seal is more common while the green seal is harder to find. These are the rarer green seal varieties. The bills will be sent via USPS first-class mail.
