This fabulous vintage glitzy gold tissue box looks like it is straight from Hollywood! It was made by Ransburg in Indianapolis. The entire box is wood, but the upper part (on top of the wood structure) appears to be clear acrylic over gold foil. To put the tissues / Kleenex in, you just slide out the wood base / bottom. Inside the box (on the center of the bottom) is the Ransburg label in the shape of an artist's palette. The three lines on the label are: Ransburg the finest in its field INDIANAPOLIS The box is in very good condition. It barely looks used. On one of the smaller ends there is a small V shaped crack in the clear acrylic near the lower left corner. On the other end there are some little cracks at the upper right corner. On the top, there is a tiny section of the tip of one corner missing. These "issues" are only visible upon VERY close inspection. This spectacular glamorous box will transform you and your tissues ---- and your bathroom or bedroom --- to another realm. This gold box is the most extreme gold vintage Kleenex box that we have seen in many years.
