Description: This is the Singer 100th anniversary model (1851-1951) S/N AK174994 (Model 15-91) from February 20, 1951. This sewing machine belonged to my parents who bought it new in early 1951 shortly after arriving to America and it has been in my family since then. It has been stored in a dehumidified basement so there is absolutely no corrosion. It is in beautiful condition for its age, very clean, used very little over the past 73 years. This sewing machine is in excellent original condition, it has never been disassembled or repaired, just occasional oiling with Singer sewing machine oil. The wiring is not cracked or deteriorated, it runs smoothly as seen in the video. There is almost no wear on the gold decals. It comes with a box of accessories, including a buttonhole accessory, a foot pedal and an original Singer 15-91 user manual. The bentwood case also includes the key.
