Vintage Sinclair Refining Oil Gas Can 5 Gallon Brass Tag Green Embossed 1920's

Description: WOW WOW WOW! This beauty is impossible to find. This is embossed at the top (slightly before what I would consider neck) with "Sinclair" also has brass tag saying property of Sinclair refining co. Top is marked davis welding mfg co. This piece is different than others only has one handle and different style lid. Yet is not like the generic davis welding ones due to the embossed "SINCLAIR". In my opinion the paint looks to vibrant to be original. Has rust spots and texture to surface. One side of brass label is kind of lifting ever so slighty other side appears to lay down smooth and possibly be adhered differently. Inside shows rusting but solid as can be! Measures a crazy 23" tall! I bought this at a Sale so my knowledge is limited. There is something right inside top of jug adhered to side i included a picture i dont know its purpose.
