Description: Not sure if platter is sterling or silverplate. There is no real hallmarks except the etchings on one side. Magnets do not stick to it and it is lighter in weight than other plated items I own of similar size. Comes in original box and plastic wrapping still intact around the platter. There is a couple spots where there is a hole in the plastic wrapping where the tarnish is. "To Wes and Linda" written on the outside of the box are our neighbors. Linda said her mother gave it to them as an anniversary gift over 40 years ago. Selling this for them. Priced to sell as I can find nothing like it on line.
