It gives you a view of the life of people pre 1900’s and then all the way through to 1944. 1944 in and of itself is a long time ago - so reading the little history blips throughout this recipe book was very intriguing and want others to be able to get their hands on this wonderful little book. Condition - The book itself is in very very good condition considering the age. There is normal wear near the spine (see picture), but nothing is falling apart. Slight creases here and there. And there are some stains from someone having this book open while baking (which I think just adds character). Item ships within 1 business day upon receiving payment. QUICK!
