Description: For sale is a beautiful vintage glass egg crafted from the volcanic ash of the 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helens. It was crafted by artists who melted the volcanic ash and shaped creating this stunning, decorative egg. The egg is about 2" high and 1.75" wide. It has been etched with the mark MSH 1986 near the bottom. See images 5 and 6. The egg is a tangible reminder of the 1980 eruption which was a pivotal event in U.S. volcanic history. It is vintage and does show some signs of age. There are minor scratches but they don't detract from this unique piece of artistic history's beauty. See photos for details.
