David Adam DeVillier (b. 1960) was born in Louisiana and received his Bachelors of Fine Arts at Louisiana State University, his MFA from Yale. He has divided his life between family, the studio and the classroom, translating his quirky humor and raw honesty into timeless two and three dimensional objects that reflect some of the artist's inner reality. This black on buttery yellow panel depicts 3 "banana men" with prominent genitalia in a stylized jungle setting and is in very nice condition with stable paint and superficial scuffs. Dating from the 1990's, it is housed in a high quality distressed gun metal gray/metallic frame of the same era. The panel has been mounted to a dark acid free foam core backing board for framing.
