Description: Exceptional Charles Counts Sgraffito Pottery Vase thrown by Charles in 1993 as tribute to Beaver Ridge studios. The form makes use of Charles's iconic manganese clay (a medium he picked up from his time at Pond Farm under Wildenhain.). The vase includes juicy, heavily carved surfaces with primitive mid-century motifs and a rust creamy glaze. A real statement piece. Measures 9 in tall and 7 inches diameter at the base. I purchased this a number years ago from a dealer and it's been in my collection ever since. No chips no breaks no repairs. Will come double boxed and shipped via USPS or FedEx.
