Description: Vintage Hand-Cut Rock Crystal Quartz (tested) Bead Necklace Sterling Silver Fittings 16 inch + 3 inch extension This is a beautiful necklace of vintage hand-cut faceted rock crystal quartz (tested) beads which have been set into contemporary sterling silver wire wrapped links. These gorgeous vintage stone beads were somewhat free formed in their hand faceting and so their shapes are similar but their size and facets are not exactly alike. They have a wonderful way of catching and reflecting light in sparkle particular to rock crystal (if you have seen rock crystal "pools of light" beads the effect is similar only with more flash from the facets. The beads have been fitted into "links" of hand worked sterling silver wire into connecting links. There is a sterling silver 3 inch extension chain with a smaller faceted rock crystal bead finishing the end and lobster claw safety clasp on the other end. Link wire and chain tested as sterling silver and clasp is hallmarked "925". Overall a superbly elegant necklace! Please see extensive photos.
