Description: CIRCA 1940’s vintage watch --- Famous American maker HAMILTON, This is PLATINUM-CASED, DIAMOND DIAL Vintage watch with Hooded Lugs! CASE. All PLATINUM case. Super condition, one tiny, tiny ding on case back, See pictures. Case measures about 40mm long X 21mm wide, excluding the unsigned winding crown. Crystal is nice, no flaws. New NOS Kreisler Genuine Black Lizard band offers a nice look. These were authorized Hamilton factory watches that had “contract” cases made in platinum, unsigned by Hamilton DIAL & HANDS---Original dial has never been refinished, nice condition, some discoloration and minor blemishes at 5,6,7 area of the dial. Sub-seconds. Original, correct hands also look good. Dial Signed "HAMILTON". MOVEMENT---Hamilton #980 signed 17-Jewel Manual wind mechanical movement.
