Description: This is a 1940's deadstock long sleeve cotton khaki shirt, dated 1948, in approximately a men's size XXL. This shirt is made of a heavyweight (8.2 oz) cotton khaki twill, and was made by the Woodbury Mfg. Co. in Connecticut. This was issued to, and came from the estate of a WWII and Korean War USMC veteran who was in the reserve from 1945 through the beginning of 1950, when he was called up to fight in Korea. This likely comes from that time in the USMCR, due to the date, although it could be backstock from the beginning of the Korean War. Extremely dense ink stamps, cutter tags still intact, having gone through the NYQM office. Although the shirt is labeled as a 16x35 size-wise, please check the measurements below before purchasing. Measurements:Chest (pit-to-pit): 23.5 in Shoulders: 18 in Hem: 25.5 in Length: 32 in Sleeve Length: 25.5 in NOS, Deadstock condition. Unworn. Some staining and fading from storage. See photos for more details. Note: No effort has been made to clean or restore this item. Sold as-is. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to request more photos. Thanks!
