Description: Another treasure from Mom's estate. This stood on her beautiful mantle with similar pieces for as long as I can remember. I'm not an art major, so if I am mischaracterizing any of this, please feel free to tell me. This bronze statue features a renaissance woman holding air, or just looking at her hands. She stands next to a column with a pot of flowers on top. The detailing on this piece is magnificent. The facial features, bows, folds on her dress, etc are so intricate. I don't see any major flaws, other than the bottom looks like it used to have paper on it (?) but has long since been worn away. It could also use a better cleaning than I could get my husband to do ;) This is a heavy, metal statue that stands 11.5" tall. The oval base is ~ 6.5" x 5.5"
