Description: Very Scare and Special. Original Balinese Sculpture. Signed: K. T. Rodja. Serene, delicate, spiritual beauty. Offering an Original, Authentic, Vintage, Balinese, Indonesian Wood Carving of a Woman, holding a harvested, bound, rice sheaf (or banana leaves, or large flower blossom) in her arms. Hand carved from local tropical wood. Light in color. Measures 22.75" inches tall. Rare find. Done in the age old stylized artistic form, abstract, with exaggerated, elongated body, (sometimes referred to as Art Deco style, but unique only to Indonesia). Carved into the base is the artist's name: K.T. Rodja and Mas, Bali (and other markings). K.T. Rodja is an extremely impressive carver who's pieces are highly desirable and collectible. True age unknown. Condition: Good. Used. Except for a thin fracture line on the base, there is no noted major damage. Study all images. Packaged with care. Free Shipping within the USA.
