Description: Offering this vintage Anri Italy wood chess set in original wood box, designed by Arthur Elliot and entitled Elsinore, I do not have the chess board, the king and queen pieces have original labels on bottom, and this has some slight signs of use and age but mainly just some scuffs and small dings to outside of box, all shown in photos. I have not wiped down the box with polish so would clean up with some clear wood polish (I didn't want to artificially hide any condition issues). The only issues to any chess pieces are shown of some that have tiny spots or imperfections and may clean up also. The very bottom/underside of box is worn from use and age. The pieces measure from 2 5/8" to 3 15/16" tall each. The box measures 3 1/4" by 14 1/4" by 9" (including metal latch).
