I'm not entirely sure of the age as the design encompasses several decades, but it is vintage. The adorable look allows it to blend with fashion styles from the boho cottage core aesthetics of the 1960's and 70's, to the more retro contemporary modern day to evening wear of later decades. Great versatility with this one! Fashionable to wear with a little blazer and pumps for a classic day to evening city look, a weekend country fair casual vibe paired with a saddle-colored leather blazer and boots, or go totally easy in a boho breezy look with a soft sweater and flats or sandals. Very versatile fashion for your closet to dress up or down.....and it has the comfort of silk! Design: Features a rounded scoop neckline and tank style sleeveless bodice. The flirty skirt layers ease from the sides to a waistline that is not quite empire, but higher than the normal waistline, and they meet just ever-so-slightly a bit higher in the center front. Very feminine and yet a little forgiving in the pattern and style as it is not such a body conscious tight-fitting garment. A wide, super soft mustard-sienna colored velvet sash tie is inserted in the side seams for tying in the front. A long, hidden YK zipper in the center back with metal hook-n-eye at the neckline provides closure. This dress is fully lined, with the lining being somewhat tailored, so photos and measurements shown with the dress inside out as well. Stated tag size is a women's 4, which seems appropriate on my size 2 Mannie-Girl form as she did have extra room, especially noted through the bust/bodice area. Her measurements are 33-24-35 and the dress is a little too big for her. Condition: Clean garment, I find no evidence of wear, stains, tears, or damage. Excellent condition and NO smoke odor!
