The group performed in Amarillo, El Paso, Midland, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and Lubbock, as printed on the backside. The back also features cactus and gun graphics to represent Texas. The front reads, "Foghat Takes Texas 1981," with a graphic of the state. The early 80s saw the band's shift from hard boogie towards heavier new-wave influences. Guitarist Rod Price was replaced by Erik Cartwright in 1981, playing lead and slide guitar on Foghat's last three major label releases, including Girls to Chat & Boys to Bounce, In the Mood for Something Rude, and Zig-Zag Walk. Fits like a modern unisex adult small. This item is from the estate of Craig MacGregor, the bassist for the band Foghat in the 1970s, 80s, and again in the 2000’s. The item was owned by Craig, a collector of t-shirts, and stored for some time in a basement before it came into our possession. As a result there may be some lingering basement odor.
