Description: 2 Nice Vintage UKAI 27"x 1 1/8" Satin Alloy Road Tour Bike Clincher Rims 36 Hole (A Pair) This is a Pair of Nice Vintage Gray Satin Finish Alloy 27" x 1 1/8" UKAI 36 spoke hole Clincher Rims off a Vintage Road / Touring Bicycle. Rims are used, in Good shape, has a few scratches, some brake surface wear, may have small dents, pretty clean, used not abused, could used some detailing. Rims are stamped UKAI 27 x 1 1/8 W/O LA Made in Japan. The Rims measure approximately 17mm wide inside and about 23mm out side. This 27" rim has ISO or Bead Seat Diameter (BSD) 630mm this is a size used on the early road bikes, 27" size was used before 700c wheels became the standard. The 27" rim is a Old abandoned standard that will be harder and harder to find as time goes on, FYI 27" is slightly bigger than 700c. This 27" is NOT the Same as 27Five Mountain Bike size.
