Description: This auction find listing is for two (2) vintage Eagle Pencil Company 527 Simplex mechanical pencils. Both appear to be in very good condition. The blue pencil does have a type of red lead in the wood barrel but shows regular lead in the top portion. Both pencils have good, legible text on the wood barrel, and both work as designed. The erasers have been used, the clips are tight, and the metal portion of both pencils are in good condition. If the pencil screw design is just started on the pencils, they measure approximately 5-5/8" long. We would stay that the red pencil metal portion does have a little better shine to it than the blue pencil. Both pencils do show the signs of usage, but the tips are in decent condition. We do not detail clean our items, only wipe down and dust for photo-taking purposes. Please Note: We apologize for any light spots or shadows during the photo-taking process.
