Description: Incredibly, rare, vintage find! Beautiful, 1930's, Martex, linen, toweling, fabric bolt. Possibly a linen/cotton blend. 17 inches between selvedges x 26 yards. 26, uncut, continuous yards. Martex stamp on the edges, every 16 inches. American Made. Creamy, ivory fabric with multi colored stripes on edges. Unwashed and carefully stored. Spots of dye, here and there, occurring in production. These have been depicted. We have been told, this bolt was designed for in home use for creating toweling. Often hung on dowel dispensers in kitchens. This durable fabric can be used for crafting, towels, runners, pillows... So many creative uses! We are letting this go due to the fact that our sewing experience does not reach far beyond our 8th grade, home economics, sewing class!!
