Description: Vintage 1 qt., brass, ALFCO VL-1 fire extinguisher. Manufactured by American-LaFrance-Foamite Corporation, Elmira, New York. I believe it is of a 1940's vintage. The extinguisher has been machine buffed, hand polished, and clear coated. The extinguisher is EMPTY and the pump handle does move in and out, but it is being sold as a collectible item only. It is in excellent condition. Measures approx. 13½" tall x 3" in diameter. Unless my items are listed as New or MIB (Mint In Box/Bag) they are used, so expect there to be some wear and signs of usage.
