Description: A very pretty antique oak balloon clock with split pediment and finial… attractive inlay and stands 12 inches high..Interior movement is brass , and comes with original brass key…I’m going to sell it as not working , because in the last 30 years it’s been in my keep , I only used it for decorative purposes as I really like the design ..So I would suggest it needs a clean and service , however the important thing I’m told is that the balance wheel spins and works for a few seconds before stopping.I don’t want to over wind it , so you must make your mind up….I suspect it’s French and turn of the century? The finial is a typical late Victorian look and the pediment too …
