Description: Pretty old handkerchief box is from the Victorian era, it is about 7" square and about 2 5/8" tall. The box has metal letters of Hdkfs, for Handkerchiefs, and fancy metal decorative corners. The box looks like wood, I think it is wood that is covered with celluloid that has a wood design. The bottom appears to be covered with paper. The inside of the box is lined with yellow silk or satin. The handkerchief box has a water stain on the bottom and 2 stains on the inside bottom portion of the yellow satin. The hinges are good and the box is in otherwise good condition.
