It was manufactured by Burleigh Ware (Burgess & Leigh / Crownford China) and comes in the 'Calico' chintz pattern c1960's-1970's. This popular pattern comes in a beautiful cobalt blue and white allover floral chintz design. Tureen measures 9" tall x 12" x 9". The underplate measures 16-3/4" x 11-1/4". It comes in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and no signs of use. Underside shows a black printed mark. Research tells me that these tureens were made in a limited edition and are no longer available. Buyer pays only actual shipping costs with no added charges.
