Description: Here is a very cool - and very rare - vintage bag. This is a tinted plastic purse with a screen-like pattern, featuring a red fabric umbrella in its own attached front sleeve (umbrella sleeve is clear plastic - does not feature the screen-like pattern). Gold tone frame with center snap closure. Bag handle is the same plastic as the body of the bag. Red acetate umbrella features a black faux bamboo handle. There is a bit of glue residue inside bag near center top where I presume a tag was once attached. Umbrella has a tag inside listing fabric contents and Taiwan (see pic). Bag is approx. 17-1/2 wide across at the bottom x 8-1/2 tall to top of frame. Umbrella is approx. 21-1/2 inches long, including handle. From my personal collection and stored for many years, this is in fabulous vintage condition - body of the bag features some scuffs/marks, consistent with age (a bit dusty!); umbrella is very good - some light soiling/a few white marks on black faux bamboo handle - I did not want to force umbrella open all the way and risk tearing it; one of the spokes is slightly bent (see pic) but this does not affect opening. This is a very rare find - and quite a statement piece - very fun - and a terrific addition to your collection.
