I assume it could be outdated software but the projector has the latest firmware available installed. This shouldn't be any problem though since it's very easy to just use a FireTV or Roku Stick to access a multitude of apps!! I used my FireTV Stick and was able to plug the USB Cord into the port (next to the HDMI port) and it powered the stick perfectly!! You'll see several pics of various screens I posted. I also used the MiraCast feature to use my tablet on it. Pretty COOL!! :-) NOTE: Images from the projector were projected onto my bedroom wall.
