US WW2 BULLION 69th Infantry Div Named Ike Jacket Sterling CIB German Made. J559

Description: For sale here is a great looking US WW2 NAMED 69th Infantry Communications Zone Europe Infantry Ike Jacket. This shows some Occupation German made pieces. The left shoulder of the jacket has a machine sewn CommZ patch. Both sleeves have machine sewn chevrons. The lower left sleeve has a machine sewn block of 3 overseas stripes. The lower right sleeve has a GORGEOUS machine sewn German made Bullion Meritorious Unit Citation Patch. The right shoulder has a hand sewn German made bullion 69th Infantry Division patch, that is about the prettiest patch i have ever seen. The jacket has a machine sewn Ruptured Duck over the right breast pocket. The marksman badge appears to be German made. The four place thread ribbon bar is also German made. The CIB is Sterling marked on the back and has Sterling smooth faced clutches. The collar brass is for Infantry. It is the economy type with smooth faced clutches. The jacket is tagged size 38s and is dated December 16th, 1944. The jacket is named to Whitcomb in the collar. This should be researchable with some digging. The jacket shows some wear, wrinkling, age, a few small nips, and some toning to the bullion. This is a real beauty!
