Description: For sale here is a great looking US WW2 Army Enlisted Artillery Khaki Tailor Made Overseas Garrison Hat Cap. The cap is made of khaki cotton and features red Artillery piping that has faded to a pink color. I believe that this cap is unissued or light worn, but it was poorly stored. The cap shows some moisture stains and a few pin holes. The piping is in great condition, but does have a wear spot on the right side. Inside, the cap is lined in salmon satin and has a leather sweatband. The interior shows no issues. There is a size tag of 6 3/4, and that is roughly how it fits. The sweat band has stiffened a bit, but it is fully attached and there are no cracks. You can not fold this cap in half. You will need to use care with the cap and some leather conditioning. The band is flexible, but not supple. This will make a nice lot to add to your collection. Please see my other eBay store at Cadencemilitaria2 for more great items.
