ULTRA RARE | Original Pokemon Center Tokyo GENGAR PlushPlush Pokedoll 2001 plush

Description: For sale is a vintage Gengar PlushPlush Pokedoll from the now defunct original Pokémon Center in Tokyo. This is the original, 1st edition, Gengar Pokedoll. The later Pokemon Center New York release changed fabrics and eye embroidery. This plush is in nm/mint condition. It still has both its tush tag and hang tag. The hang tag has been removed and framed for preservation. It could easily be reattached with a plastic retail fastener at anytime as it originally was- they’re sold on Amazon for $2. This listing also includes the original Gengar PlushPlush Can Badge Pin. These were sold separate of each Pokémon in the original PlushPlush line- it is also new with its tags just as it was on store shelves in Tokyo over 20 years ago. The Can Badge is displayed with a clear acrylic stand which is included. This listing also comes with a custom made glass museum style case. The case includes a frosted-glass style Pokémon Center graphic on the front and a museum tag on the inside back of the case. The museum tag acknowledges the PlushPlush/Pokedoll line’s contributions to both the chibi art style and “kawaii” culture. Gengar rests on an automatically rotating base that can be turned on so you’re able to view the piece at every angle while also protected behind glass. Also included is a framed original Grand Opening holo sticker from the original Pokémon Center. The sticker is in mint condition and will come with its original bag packed separate. This plush is a part of my personal collection and not something I’d want to sell without a significant offer. Just because I have an item listed does not mean I’m eager to sell it. This is an extraordinarily rare plush of an iconic Gen 1 Pokémon that was sold alongside the Legendary Beast Giants, Giant Lugia, and the other PlushPlush such as Meowth, Porygon2, Psyduck, Clefairy, Larvitar + more.
