In the prequels, Emperor Palpatine utilized a pair of 2-1B Medical Droid units to bring Anakin Skywalker back to life as the Sith Lord, Darth Vader. This followed his brutal mutilation and disfigurement on the fiery planet of Mustafar, a consequence of his conflict with Obi-Wan Kenobi. A different droid, identified only as 2-1B, chose to abandon the Galactic Empire and instead provide its services to the Rebel Alliance. This particular droid played a key role in treating the renowned Luke Skywalker after his beatdown by a hungry Wampa on the ice planet of Hoth, and once again later when he lost his right hand in a battle against Darth Vader. This 2-1B Medical Droid looks fresh off the card. He is 100% complete with some tight limbs and very slight discoloration in his transparent torso, which is common for this particular vintage figure. His paint and plastic are in perfect condition and he includes his original vintage medical wand which is also in impeccable shape.
