Description: Up For Sale or Auction: This is truly amazing. An original signed 13x17' artwork by award winning artist Tula Lotay of famed actress Veronica Lake. It is mixed media of charcoal and acrylic and is simply stunning and commissioned many years ago and this is below my cost then and her popularity has skyrocketed since with her art very much in demand nowadays, as well as her prices for commissions have gone up quite a bit. This is simply stunning! About This Item (size and condition): It will be sent flat and is in amazing condition. Tula Lotay is the pen name of Lisa Wood, an English comic book artist. She is known for illustrating Supreme: Blue Rose, written by Warren Ellis for Image Comics, and for founding the Thought Bubble Festival, the UK's largest comics convention. She was also an artist for Si Spencer's eight-part series Bodies, published by Vertigo. Veronica Lake (November 14, 1922 – July 7, 1973) was an American film, stage, and television actress. Lake was best known for her femme fatale roles in film noirs with Alan Ladd during the 1940s, her peek-a-boo hairstyle, and films such as Sullivan's Travels (1941) and I Married a Witch (1942). By the late 1940s, Lake's career began to decline, due in part to her alcoholism. She made only one film in the 1950s, but made several guest appearances on television. She returned to the big screen in the film Footsteps in the Snow (1966), but the role failed to revitalize her career. About Us: We have been on eBay since 1998 and have sold over 500,00 items. We are collectors as well and love the pursuit of fun items to add to our collections. We want to sell on this site a large variety of BOOKS, TRADING CARDS, AUTOGRAPHS, ANTIQUES, MAGAZINES, PROGRAMS and more. Please check out our items up for sale or auction. Please Read: 1) Be KIND. Over our twenty-six years on eBay, especially over the last five years, we have dealt with headache customers. You will always get a courteous reply if you inquire. If we do not reply, it means I am not interested in your offer (see below) or the answer can be found on the description page. If you have an issue of any sorts, contact me and do NOT open a case against me without contacting me first. 2) We DO NOT accept Best Offers. Simply put, we do our research on what items should sell for and we at that point make sure we have the best price available for our customers. If you send me a low ball offer, simply put, you get blocked. 3) We DO NOT accept International shipping. So sorry. It's one of those things where a few International customers (and the post office) have led to this. We have had three issues on eBay over the last five years and they all involved International shipping, including an order earlier this year from a Portuguese women who was very nice to start with, the item was returned by the post office, she was nice again and I sent it out and despite proof of it being sent, opened a case and the shortly after, contacted eBay to get her funds. To put it lightly, she was a nightmare (as well as the post office) and I do not feel like dealing with this anymore and this transaction with this person was so unpleasant that I do not much want to deal with it anymore. So sorry. 4) We sell a large variety of items and we guarantee the authenticity of every item. When it comes on the autograph front, we will happily refund you if the item is proven unauthentic and we highly recommend PSA/DNA. While we do our best, we make mistakes (as do legitimate authenticators and sellers) and our intent from day one is to offer the customer a positive experience and autograph fraud is simply put, theft. While we do not offer an LOA/COA as a large percentage of autographs are forgeries and everyone offers one (it defeats the purpose to be honest with you), you can print out this page for your records and works just as well as proof of purchase that holds us responsible 5) We DO combine shipping. Just contact us and tell us which items you are interested in OR purchase them outright and we will refund partial shipping. Because we sell both small and large items, it is very difficult for eBay to decipher what is being sold and what can be sent together that it is challenging.
