Forester novel, The Pride And The Passion. During the Napoleonic Wars, a British captain is sent to Spain to help prevent the French from stealing a powerful canon. This portrait format poster is from the original first Belgian release of the film in 1957. I labeled it a Style B poster since there is another version of a poster for this title with different artwork. It is in nice, folded condition and features wonderful artwork of the three major stars that is unique to this Belgian release poster. DESCRIPTION: The Pride & the Passion (1957) - Stanley Kramer Pictures, Directed by Stanley KramerCOUNTRY OF ORIGIN/SIZE: Belgium 13.75" x 20" CONDITION: Good Trimmed Folded Condition. Partially trimmed top white border has remnants of a former theater exhibition snipe and a tax stamp. A few small tears and minor paper crinkling around the edges of the surrounding borders. A few extra horizontal folds. Three cello-tape stains in the top of artwork. Some writing in bottom border. Artwork is vivid and completely intact. Folded as originally issued, this poster has been stored folded in half for the past 20 years but will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube or box.
