THE DOORS SIGNED Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger, John Densmore Autograph The Doors

Description: 'The Doors' debut album by The Doors, hand signed in Silver ink by John Densmore, and Robby Krieger and signed in black ink by the late great Ray Manzarek. I bought this record pre signed by Ray Manzarek. At the time it was personalized by Ray, "To Mike" - see photos. Quickly after it was in my possession I got it signed in person by Robby and John in Los Angeles. I was planning on having personalization removed either way but didn't have time to do it before I saw these guys. John, being John signed over the personalization a little bit, but the restoration specialist I took it to had no problem removing the personalization still. They used an alcohol based solution to remove most of it but the ink was deep in the album cover paper so they had to air brush a little bit to make it look nice. John Densmore autograph is slightly smeared. He recently did an event at Book Soup where his guy took the records to him. His guy was asked very politely not to stack the records but he didn't care and stacked them anyways. See photo. Please see my other listing of the 'Strange Days' record where John's autograph is terribly smeared. I suppose you could say the autograph from that 'Strange Days' record is on the back of this one. See photos. Based on that logic I suppose you could also say this record is double signed by John lol. In the spirit of how John signs I suppose its kinda neat, a testament to his angry spirit. This is an original pressing of The Doors debut album. Record is included. I don't particularly want to sell this item but I have fallen on some financial hardship and need the money bad.
