A history of the Biblical Great Flood designed for young readers. 56 pages total with 22 colored illustrations. Hard cover with dust jacket in very good condition. One corner of inside otherwise blank cover page has booksellers’ pencil notations writing on it on the upper right hand corner (photo 11). Edges of pages and hardcover are a little worn, and one small chip of dustcover to reveal teal hardcover is noted (photos 1 and 10) . Otherwise the original dustcover and book are in great shape, and all pages are clean and bright. The book measures 8.5” x 6.25”. Illustrated by the author with charming, rather primitive but quirky and fun color and line drawings. Limited to an edition of 975 copies (see photo 9). No former owner's name, no book-plate, no other writing or marking than noted. First Edition. Black cloth spine over teal paper-covered boards with printed pictorial label on front board. Original beige pictorial dustjacket not price clipped (photo 12). Very mild shelf-wear to extremities of boards and some discoloration of teal hardcover from use. A very nice collectible copy of this whimisical retelling of the Biblical flood story.
