To me, it is in excellent vintage condition, meaning gently worn and well taken care of - wear consistent with age. The black cord feels like it is leather. It could probably use a little conditioning and dye to bring it back to looking new, but many folks will wear it as it is. See images of leather as there is a little bit of wear or dye loss. I personally like to preserve my leather items, so I would put some leather conditioning on it and maybe a tiny bit of leather shoe dye. That is just my preference. I do that once in a while on my vintage leasther bags and they look like new again. There is a maker mark but I can’t tell what it is. It doesn’t appear to be a Taxco piece. Perhaps you know. I did use an acid test to confirm it was sterling silver. This bracelet would look great on its own or stacked with other bangles. This would be a wonderful gift to a vintage jewelry collector or a fantastic addition to your ever growing collection. For weight and metal purity I rely on the results of my Fusion scale and the common Puri Test Acid tests. I did not clean the jewelry. Many folks like some patina or purchasing items as found. I leave all cleaning and polishing up to the discretion of the buyer.
