It has a fixed hinged bale which opens for easy attachment to a necklace for wear as a pendant. It in excellent vintage condition with all stones intact & in good condition. It is a large brooch. It measures approx. 1 1/2 x 3 1/4". It is signed with the St. John makers mark used 1962 to present. Estate piece. Age is estimated. The differences between color in the photos is a result of flash vs non-flash photography and background. It has been well cared for over the years. It is unsigned.
