Description: Here is a nice stepped and complex Spinel crystal, growing in marble. This is from Mogok, in Myanmar. The crystal is in good condition, with area's of skeletal and slightly rounded grow patterns. There in one area on the inside which might be contacted, but it is hard to judge how and whether that affected the overall formation of this Spinel cluster. This specimen is 102 grams, or 3.5 oz.
