This is not a post-Soviet issue, copy or souvenir! The medallion is in brass with silver plating, 34 mm wide. The obverse shows hammer & sickle emblem, laurel wreath, letters CCCP (“USSR”) and inscription “Veteran of Labor”. The reverse has raised inscription “For Many Years of Diligent Labor”. The medal is in EXCELLENT condition, with nicely preserved factory-applied black finish on the background. There are no significant bumps, dings, scratches or other serious defects.
