This Railroad existed until the late 1990s, when it was merged into Canadian Pacific. Included are 3 station lists showing each location and the number of images included from that location. Also included is a small timetable compendium of 5 timetables from the SOO Line Railroad, 1 employee timetable and 4 public timetables. These timetables are: Soo Line System #1 1-1-1985, 66 pages. Soo Line System public timetable 6-12-1954, 19 pages. Soo Line system public timetable 3-6-1960, 15 pages; Soo Line system public timetable 12-10-1963, 4 pages; and Soo Line system public timetable 10-30-1966, 2 pages. Total 106 image pages of Soo Line timetables, both employee and public. These timetables cover all of this territory, so you can see where each location was, with respect to the others. The older public timetables contain all station names for easy reference. A few clearance cards were included if the orders were in sets with these clearance cards attached. A clearance card is just a recap of orders received, but it also gave the train authority to move. There are 193 different SOO Line train order locations represented here, with at least one train order image from each one. The pictures shown are just a sampling of the quantity and variety of locations and operations unique to this very historic Railroad. A concerted effort has been made, to give the best (some enhanced) images possible. There is a grand total of 1225 images included. The train orders in this CD show many operators' names, engine numbers, track conditions, operating procedures, and all kinds of meets and flag orders, all consistent with train-order operation.
