Description: Leonard Cohen's stunning debut on 1st US press vinyl. This is the '2-eye' Columbia label and has 1A/1A stampers, indicating earliest pressing. Vinyl is a strong VG+ and looks great overall with just a few hairlines that prevent higher grading. No spindle marks or evidence of mishandling or excessive playing. A nice copy overall. The thick cardboard cover has tight seams, no splits. Front does have evidence of shelf wear and ring wear (see pics) which shows up more on the stark black front. Back looks nice, as the wear is not as evident with the beautiful colorful artwork. Includes EX condition original lyric sheet. All used records cleaned prior to shipment on my new Degritter 2 ULTRASONIC record cleaning machine. Will be shipped with archival inner sleeve to protect original printed inner, with record placed outside of the jacket to avoid seam splits and everything is contained and protected in an outer plastic sleeve.
