Description: A small 2 7/8 inch tall amber-colored triangular-shaped antique POISON bottle. This bottle is embossed on one panel and has its original paper labels on the two other sides BUT the labels are dark from age so that you cannot make out much of anything. This is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE hand Blown Into Mold bottle (BIM) with a tooled top, dating it all the way back to the 1800's. Bottle embossed: "SHARP & DOHME / BALTIMORE". Condition: Bottle is in good clean condition, NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc. The labels are mostly complete but darkened beyond legibility, you can make out just a few words like 'CAUTION' or possibly 'POISON'. It looks like it was possibly sprayed with lacquer to keep the label from drying up or peeling off. PLEASE see pictures for overall idea of the appearance of the bottle. Age: An ORIGINAL ANTIQUE hand-blown bottle (Blown-In-Mold = BIM) with a tooled-top, ca. late 1800's. Shipping: FREE domestic shipping. We DO ship Internationally but we do NOT insure International orders unless buyer specifically requests this and we are able to provide an insurance estimate. If an international shipping charge is much more than the actual shipping cost, we will refund the excess so what YOU pay for shipping/insurance is very close to, if not exactly, the ACTUAL shipping costs! This is important for foreign buyers to know as most of our foreign shipping charges are estimates. We do not falsify information on the Customs Form, such as a price other than what the actual purchase price is, so please do not request us to do so. We ship several times a week and your prompt payment will hasten the turn-around time. An attractive bottle in an unusual triangular shape. Antique poison bottles are some of the most collectible bottles today as their shapes, colors, and embossing patterns set them apart from all other antique bottles. They were almost always made in interesting shapes or forms (like this bottle, blown in a triangular shape), in unusual colors, and / or had fancy or extraordinary embossing patterns on them, all things to let a user know, by sight and feel, that the bottle's contents were something not to be consumed. We recently saw one of the old cobalt blue cylinder shaped poison bottles that are covered with an embossed lattice pattern, and the description carried the slogan 'Lattice saved Lives', which says it all. In this case, triangle saved lives, that's the point. Check it out!Terms of Sale: Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction.
